Ottolenghi Christmas Pudding
We were already feeling pretty pleased with our Ottolenghi Christmas pudding, all wrapped up in a stunning limited edition cloth, and this year, we have a brand new O design by artist Ivo Bisignano to add to the collection. After unwrapping the pudding it can be reused as a napkin or tea towel.
So what makes a Christmas pudding an Ottolenghi pudding? Well...we enhanced a wonderful traditional recipe (our Sarah's grandma's, as a matter of fact) with some of our absolute favourite ingredients: Lebanese arak, juicy dates, orange blossom, orange rind, aniseeds and lots of ginger. The result is a perfect balance of the familiar and the exotic. The puddings are fruity, moist, squidgy, boozy, spicy, citrusy and super aromatic. Or, in short, totally amazing.
