3.1 We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect from when they are posted on the website (see date at the top) and it is your responsibility to read the Terms and conditions on each occasion that you use this website. Your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest Terms and Conditions.
3.2 It is prohibited by law to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. We will not sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. By placing an order with us you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or in the case of the wine being a gift you also confirm that the recipient is 18 or over. You also confirm that the information that you give is correct and truthful.
3.3 The contract between us shall be governed by the Laws of the United Kingdom and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of United Kingdom. English is the only language offered for the conclusion of the contract.
4.1 All orders that are being placed on this website are subject to these Terms and Conditions.
4.2 Acceptance of order and completion of contract are made once the order is confirmed by us and payment is being processed. English is the only language offered for the conclusion of the contract.
4.3 We reserve the right not to accept any order due to one or more of the following:
- 4.3.1 The product is out of stock.
- 4.3.2 Payment has not being authorised.
- 4.3.3 Error in pricing or product description.
- 4.3.4 The criteria in clause 3.2 in these Terms and Conditions are not being met.
- 4.3.5 Technical failure of the website.
4.4 All products are subject to availability. In the unlikely event that we are unable to supply you with your request, we will notify you as soon as possible.
4.5 Once the order has been dispatched we will send you a despatch confirmation via email.
4.6 On occasion the product specification may change. If this does happen, we will do our best to contact you to offer you a substitute item of the same or better quality, at the same price. If you are not happy with the replacement item offered to you, we will refund you for the original unavailable item.
4.7 Please make sure to read the labels on the packaging for any allergy inquiries. Do not solely rely on the information given on the website as mistakes can occur.
4.8 All sizes and measurements are approximate but we do try to make sure that they are as accurate as possible.
4.9 All images of products in terms of colour etc. might vary from the computer screen view. We cannot guarantee that the image is an identical representation of the product.
4.10 Some items in The Christmas Hamper and The Sweet Treats Hamper are subject to minor variation. This includes, but is not limited to, the type of jam, relish, salt and panettone.
5.1 All our products are being produced, where applicable, and stored in an environment where nuts are being used. Product may therefore contain traces of nuts.
6.1 Risk of damage or loss to the goods supplied passes to you when delivery is attempted whether successful or not. We cannot accept any claim for damage or deterioration after the delivery has been made. This does not affect your statutory rights.
7.1 Standard UK delivery is 3-5 working days from date of order. Hampers are delivered on the date selected at checkout. Deliveries to the Channel Islands and Isle of Man may incur delays due to customs checks. For more information on delivery times see our Delivery & Return policy. Please note that we have no control over the conditions in which our products are stored once they have left our premises.
7.2 Delivery charges are specified once you have entered the delivery details and are based on the country the goods are being shipped to. UK delivery is £5.75. International charges vary depending on weight and destination. See our Delivery & Return policy for further details.
7.3 If the incorrect shipping country entered, we reserve the right to ask for additional payment to cover the cost of shipping. Failure to do so will result in the order being cancelled.
7.4 Unfortunately due to overseas customs restrictions we are advised not to deliver some of our products outside of the UK. Please see each product for specific details. We take no liability should any goods be held or delayed in customs or for any charges customs wish to apply. We recommend that you check with your local customs authorities before placing an order with us.
7.5 Alcohol can only be delivered to addresses in the UK.
7.6 Please make sure the delivery address and postcode are correct as we take no liability for goods being undelivered due to incorrect/inaccurate address details.
7.7 All delivery times are estimates only. We cannot guarantee any delivery at any specific date or time.
7.8 It is your responsibility that someone will be at the address to accept the delivery when being made.
7.9 The delivery date specified in the checkout process, available for orders of hampers only, are the dates when the order will first be attempted to be delivered.
7.10 Please contact us by email within 24 hours of expected delivery if your order has not arrived. The address is: firstname.lastname@example.org or phone: 0203 227 4999. We will respond within the next business day at the latest.
7.11 All sales are made on a retail basis, and we can not offer wholesale or trade terms of sale. We may not be able to fulfil, and reserve the right to cancel orders for large quantities and bulk purchases where applicable.
8. Payment / Prices
8.1 All prices are quoted in GBP and are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) but exclude delivery costs unless otherwise stated.
8.2 For orders outside of the UK the VAT will be deducted from products where applicable.
8.3 Payment must be made when placing the order. This also applies to any pre-ordered items.
8.4 We accept payment by Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Maestro. We do not accept payments by American Express.
8.5 When using the card you confirm that you are the cardholder or have permission to make payment with the card by the cardholder.
8.6.The price you will be charged is the price stated on the website at the time we receive your order. In the unlikely event that an incorrect price has been given, we will contact you as soon as possible to see if you would like to go ahead with you order at the correct price or cancel the order. If we fail to get in contact with you we will cancel the order in respect of the incorrect priced product.
8.7 Please make sure you receive a receipt of payment via email as well as a confirmation of your order. Failure of either to arrive might indicate that the order has not gone through successfully.
8.8 We reserve the right to change prices at any time. We reserve the right to amend prices at any time at our discretion before, but not after, we accept orders.
8.9 We cannot be held responsible for any charges local Customs wish to apply to your order. We recommend that you check with your local customs authorities before placing an order with us.
9.1 You have the right to cancel your order from when the order is placed up to 7 days from the day you receive your delivery. Your notice of cancellation must be made to us in written form, i.e. by email or post. For our contact details see paragraph 2 in these Terms and Conditions.
9.2 Should you wish to exercise your right to cancel this contract after your order has already been despatched, we will refund the original purchase price, provided that you have notified us in writing no longer than 7 working days after the day on which you receive the goods, and that the goods are returned to us re-saleable condition. You are responsible for the goods being returned to us safely at your expense.
9.3 Your right to cancel does not apply to any goods made to your specification, i.e. especially signed books and hampers.

11. Intellectual Property
11.1 You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all materials and/or content made available as part of your use of this website shall remain at all times vested in us. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by us. The content of this website (including without limitation any text, video, audio, audio-visual materials and graphics) may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted or transmitted in any form or by any means without our prior written consent, except as stated below.
11.2 You acknowledge and agree that the material and content contained within this website is made available for your own personal and non-commercial use and that you may only download such material and content for the purpose of using this website. You further acknowledge that any other use of the material and content of this website is strictly prohibited and you agree not to (and agree not to assist or facilitate any third party to) copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.
12.1 Items ordered as gifts can be sent with tracked and signed services which requires the recipient to be available when delivery is made.
12.2 It is at your descretion to inform us if your order is a gift and if you would like a message indicating who the gift is from.
