Masa Harina is used in Mexico and other parts of South America to make tortillas. It is made by a process of Nixtamalisation - an ancient Aztec process by which corn is soaked and cooked in an alkaline solution before being washed and hulled. This helps with turning it into flour and boosts its nutritional value.
