The difference between one brand of tahini and the next is huge. Some can be a bit claggy, whilst others, like the Al Arz brand, are utterly smooth and nutty. When tahini is this creamy, it can be used not only to make the best hummus but also as a sauce or dressing. Try drizzling some over your next scoop of vanilla ice cream or slice of grilled banana bread, for example, or mixing it with Greek yogurt and some chopped parsley to be spooned on top of a tray of roasted vegetables, meat or fish.

  • Pantry Just the best tahini
(10/03/2016) I have never tasted such delicious tahini. Nothing available in Australia comes close.

Makes fantastic sauce for vegetables, seafood.
  • Pantry Think Sesame Butter
(16/01/2015) Very different to supermarket tahini, darker, less set. Makes a wonderful sauce that everyone loves with grilled fish - just mix with crushed, gently cooked garlic, lemon juice and water.
