What do I do now?

Please contact your nearest Ottolenghi locations to be sent a copy of the menu that they are currently offering.

If you have any questions or would like any advice, one of our managers will be happy to help answer any questions and to help put together your order.

 

Do you deliver?

Yes, we use a local taxi company to deliver our food, staff and equipment. The cost of delivery will be added to your quote.

 

Do you cater outside of Greater London?

We do not offer regular deliveries outside of Greater London. 

If you are planning a special event outside of London, please speak to one of our store managers.

 

How much food should I order?

This will depend on the kind of event you're planning and the number of guests. 

For a main meal, we usually recommend ordering one main and two portions of salads per person.

For canapes, we suggest 4-5 per person for a drinks reception, or 10-12 canapes per person to substitute a meal

Nibbles and desserts can also be ordered to supplement this.

 

How much notice do you need?

We appreciate as much notice as possible but for most orders we would require at least 48 hours. 

If you would like to order food with less than 48 hours notice, we will do our best to accommodate your request, though please be aware that the menu may be more limited.

 

How does the food arrive?

We use 100% recyclable catering bowls or compostable salad and cake boxes to pack all of our orders.

Most of our food will arrive ready to serve or will require minimal assembly or heating. Serving instructions will accompany the food and will advise you on allergens and how to serve each dish.

 

How long can the food stay outside unrefrigerated?

We advise that you consume the food within 2 hours of delivery if unrefrigerated. We normally deliver the food up to one hour prior to service or your guests' arrival.

 

Do you provide staff?

We are able to provide serving staff, event managers, bartenders, chefs and sous chefs depending on your requirements, for a minimum of 4 hours.

Please note that at times of high demand and short notice we may not be able to fulfil the request, though of course we will try our best.

 

If I have dietary requirements, are you able to cater?

Please let us know of any dietary requirements and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note that all of our kitchens handle allergens including nuts and gluten, so we cannot guarantee that there would not be traces of these in the food.

 

Can I hire equipment for my party?

For smaller events, we can offer hire of Ottolenghi equipment and platters. For larger events, we use an external service and can organise all the equipment for you.

If you would prefer to organise the hire of equipment yourself, we will be happy to advise on what you may need.

 

When do I pay?

For events with staff and/or equipment we will charge 90% of the quote prior to the event. The remainder would be subject to staff hours and equipment return and will be invoiced after the event.

For all other events full payment will be charged before the event.

 

Do you provide tasting sessions?

We do not provide tasting sessions as a standard service. For large events, a tasting session can be organised and may incur a charge.
