Job Description

Here at Ottolenghi production kitchen (CPU) we are looking for a committed junior sous chef to work in our ''food pouches'' section.

Who are we?
Ottolenghi Ready is an expanding high-end line of ready-to-eat meals, which brings the classic Ottolenghi flavours straight to home, in a pouch ready to be heated up and served. We pride ourselves in using very high quality fresh ingredients, and we commit to the highest hygienic standards. Every step of the way is done in house, which means the products are genuinely made following our artisan artisanship.

Who is our ideal candidate?
We are looking for an experienced cook (1-2 years of experience minimum), who is looking for a chance to learn more about middle eastern cuisine, without the stress of a restaurant environment. Our kitchen is structured in a way that everything is planned in advance, so the chances of last minute surprises are close to nothing.

Because it's a high risk business, hygiene, organisational skills, precision, and sense of responsibility are essential.

We offer a more planned, sustainable, and enjoyable kitchen life, 50 hours per week, 5 days a week.
No doubles, no night shifts.

Starting salary: £27k per annum, and there is going to be a probation time of 3 months minimum. We are keen to invest in the right people that shows involvement and commitment in the project.
